Spaghetti Bolognese
In this Hospo lesson, we made Spaghetti Bolognese. This was the 2nd thing in our recepie book for the multicultural theme. We had a thicker type of fettucini, which was quite nice. I chopped up all the ingrediences finely, and added them in the fry pan with the mince and liquid. Once it was done, my partner and I ate it, and it was quite good, although my partner added too much oregano. I can't wait to eat it.
Chow Mien
Today, we made chow mien, an Asian type of stir fry. My partner and I didn't add celery, because neither of us like the taste, and we only added half of the cabbage, to give the stir fry a bit of texture and crunch. We prepared almost everything, but the carrots were accidentally placed in the fry pan before the cabbage was cut, so we had to put it on a very low heat. When we added the curry, it smelt quite strong. As soon as the chow mien was finished, I tried a bit. It had a lot of curry flavour, but it tasted quite nice.

Theory
Today in our theory lesson, we received our multicultural assignment. We were discussing what we will be doing in the assignment, and we watched a video to hopefully help us get us on the right track. I became partners with Jenny, and we were brainstorming some countries that have inspired Australian 'fusion food' cuisine. I hope we have our country decided by the next lesson.

Anzac Slice
In this hospo lesson, we made ANZAC slice, a remake of the ANZAC biscuits. We had to make some extra mixture, as we had an extra person working with us. We made the mixture first, and put it in the saucepan. When they became cool, and were cut, I tried some, and they were very tasty. I can't wait to make some at home for mum and dad.
