Tangy Lemon Slice

In our hospitality lesson, we made tangy lemon slices. It was quite simple to make. We first had to mix ingredients together to make the base of the tart, and then we placed it in the oven. Once we took it out, we covered it with the syrup, and placed it under the oven again. When it was cooked we took it out to cool down. My partner and I tried a bit of the lemon slice, we thought it tasted a bit like apple pie. Once we put some icing sugar on it and cut it into squares, I didn't put the lid fully on because if it was trapped in the heat, the slice would melt. They ended up to be quite tasty.

11/3/11

Today we watched a video on fibre. It related to breakfast and how we can make our breakfast full of fibre. This is very helpful with our assignment as it suggests the different foods that you should eat in breakfast that includes high intakes of fibre, and the foods that you should try and avoid. It will really help me answer a few of the questions on the assignment

Hedgehog slice :)

In this hospo lesson, we made hedgehog slices. When Kerys and I put it in the baking tray, there was a liquidy substance on the top. We were note sure what it was, but when the slice was cut up after it was in the fridge, it still tasted really good. I was really happy with the result of our hedgehog slice.
