Chili chicken with coconut and basil

In this practical lesson, we made chili chicken with coconut and basil, with an accompany of rice. We first had to chop up all the ingredients, and once that was done, we put all the ingredients in a wok and stirred it. While that was cooking, the rice was placen in a pot with water and was just left until cooked. I'm not a fan of coconuts, so I didnt eat this dish, although it did smell good. Hopefully my parents enjoy it!

Chicken and Avocado quesadillas.

In this cooking lesson, we made chicken and avocado quesadillas. I was really excited to make these in hospitality. We cut up the chicken, avocado, spinach and divided up the sun - dried tomatoes. I then put in my filling and put the cheese inside. I put the cheese on the edges so it would close. When they were put in the sandwich toaster, the cheese from my quesadilla came out, and ended up going everywhere. The second time, i didn't put cheese on the end, and so the cheese didn't go everywhere. I really enjoyed eating my quesadilla.

Chicken San Choy bao

In this practical lesson, we made chicken san choy bao. I enjoyed making this dish as I have eaten and made this dish at home many different times. As with all stir fry's, we had to cut and prepare the ingredients before they were placed into the wok. When the meal was finished, we placed it in the lettuce leaves. They smelt wonderful and were tasty. I am glad that I learnt how to cook a different type of san choy bao :)

Chicken Yakitori

In this lesson, we made chicken Yakitori, which is japanese chicken skewers. I cut up the chicken, while Kerys made the sauce. Once the sauce had thickened up, and I placesd the chicken and green onion on the skewers, we put them straight into the electric frypan, after coating them with the sauce. We wanted to give the chicken as much flavour as we could, so when they were cooking, we would add mroe sauce. When we had a taste of it, the extra sauce really helped. Making this was really nice to eat, especially for lunch.
