Hamburgers
Today in this lesson, we made hamburgers. To go with the burgers, we also had some oven chips and had some corn on the cob. We made the hamburger patties from scratch. We heated up the oven, and placed the chips in their, we boiled some water to place the corn in, and we cooked the patty, onions and eggs for the burgers. We placed some cheese on the patty so it would melt. After everything was cooked, we assembled the burgers, and placed the chips and corn in the packaging. We then sprinkled some chicken salt over the chips. This burger looks delicious, I can't wait to eat it!

Rice Paper Rolls with Vietnamese dipping sauce
Today we made rice paper rolls with a Vietnamese dipping sauce, which were delicious. In this lesson, I had learnt a new knife skill, which was to brunoise some chilli. To brunoise the chilli, I had to cut it into small cubes. Once all the prep for the filling was done, we had to soak the rice paper wrappers in some warm water, and then place it on a board. We then placed the filling in and wrapped it. I already knew how to wrap these as I had made a similar food before. These smell amazing, and I can't wait to try them and share with mum and dad!

Caramel apple pull-aparts
In this hospo lesson, we made caramel apple pull aparts. To make the pastry, we had to revisit the technique of making scones. I made the pastry while my partner made the apples. We then rolled up the apples in the pastry, cut them into sliced and put it in the oven. While they were cooking, we made the caramel to pour over the apple pull aparts. They smell delicious, I want wait to have some!!

Lemon tea cakes
In this hospitality lesson, we made lemon tea cakes. This was a great thing to make for the first day back at school! I made the base in the food processor, while my partner made the lemon filling. We put the base down, poured the lemon over it, and broke up the remaining base mixture and placed it on top. We then put it in the oven to cook. This recipe was delicious.I can't wait to have some more and give it to my family!

Chicken and Avocado quesadillas.
In this cooking lesson, we made chicken and avocado quesadillas. I was really excited to make these in hospitality. We cut up the chicken, avocado, spinach and divided up the sun - dried tomatoes. I then put in my filling and put the cheese inside. I put the cheese on the edges so it would close. When they were put in the sandwich toaster, the cheese from my quesadilla came out, and ended up going everywhere. The second time, i didn't put cheese on the end, and so the cheese didn't go everywhere. I really enjoyed eating my quesadilla.

Cornish Pasties
In this lesson, we made Cornish Pasties. We first had to peel the vegetables and prepare the food processor. When we turned on the food processor and started to grate the veggies, our food processor went funny, so we had to try and fix it. Luckily, it was easy to place the grater in its place, and we started to grate the veggies again. After they were grated, we added them to the meat, seasoned it and palced it in the puff pastry. We then wrapped it up in the traditional way, glazed it with milk and placed it in the oven. I can't wait to try something new that has come from Cornwall, England.

Chicken Yakitori
In this lesson, we made chicken Yakitori, which is japanese chicken skewers. I cut up the chicken, while Kerys made the sauce. Once the sauce had thickened up, and I placesd the chicken and green onion on the skewers, we put them straight into the electric frypan, after coating them with the sauce. We wanted to give the chicken as much flavour as we could, so when they were cooking, we would add mroe sauce. When we had a taste of it, the extra sauce really helped. Making this was really nice to eat, especially for lunch.

Brownies
today, in this lesson, we made brownies. We first had to melt the chocolate, and add it into the brownie batter. After the chocolate was melted, and added into everything, we placed it into a tin lined wth baking paper and plced it into the oven. After that was cooked, we had to wrap it in glad wrap and make sure that it was cool. It was then sliced up and served. They were tasty.
